Brown Double Relay

Recommended Posts

NFS

Hi Guys,

i have found that the double relay is the source of my issues, however there doesnt seem to be in stock for an XM, is there any other car that i can use that will be more likely to be in stock, as when i google the part number it comes up with a 106 relay. can anybody shed any light?

As above - very common on early 90's PSA models with fuel injection, so if you need one today and there's a scrappy near you you'll likely find loads of cars with one fitted.

Beware that the relay is different to the one used on late 90's PSA models (eg GTi-6) and also different to the one used on HDi's, despite them looking similar externally, so be sure to check the part number.

Although the later ones are different you can still mix and match with the use of a file on the locating tabs. My gti6 engine is fitted with an older relay as it's all I had at the time.

Sportif are the ones that said they could get me one but then called me back saying there isnt a physical relay on the shelf. Stocking issue, all these places are going to be too far as i dont have a car now. i have one coming from Eurocar parts atm but they are monkeys and im not even sure it will be the right one when it gets delivered. lol
