D6B Distributor Cap And Arm

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know the original part numbers for a XU9JA distributor cap, the screw on kind with male connectors for the ht leads.

And also the rotor arm to match.

Looking on eurocarparts its not very clear

Cheers

The cap is an intermotor one.

Has anyone used one before?

Looking inside it looks really s*itty quality. Where the two posts should be on the side where the ht leads connect it looks like they have ground the posts away....

No that's fine , it suppose to be like that .

But yes , intermotor pattern parts are kinda poor quality .. as long as you don't buy any of they're electrics stuff (ignition amps , coils , relays , voltage regulators etc.) it'll be fine .

It seems to have fixed the misfire when its hot at low revs when I accellerate.

Still misfires when cold until I rev it a bit, maybe the SAD isnt opening enough or could be an issue with the ECU temp sensor.
