I need a set of liners , pistons and rings for an XU9JA ( 309 GTI ) , if anyone can put me in touch with a company selling them it would be appreciated . Would be happy with a set for £200 as mentioned earlier . Did you buy them and were they ok ?

prices I paid for my rebuild bits, now I've received them they all look pretty good, but not fitted any yet.

 

Liners and rings alone are £170

 

rings - £49.87

BE - £29.46

Mains - £28.68 (half/Half or 4P/6G)

Washers - £9.46

All gaskets/seals and O rings - £68.50 (could buy cheaper but were not recommended by my supplier)

Head Bolts - £15.91

Liners - £29.86 ea

 

all the above were plus VAT & Delivery

there is a guy on ebay offering 406 sri pistons, liners and rings, brand new, for £200+ postage. fit to some 1.9 rods for some epic compression
