Sliding Roof Lubrication

Recommended Posts

Alfie

Hi all, after having some roof repairs carried out, I'm trying to fit the glass back in. Will go in ok, had to shorten the wires by kinking them a tiny amount. They were engaged the locks a bit. What lube can I apply in order to make it slide better. Not that I've used it much, but whilst its out, its the best chance of "greasing" it up slightly?

I use silicone spray if its on the rubbers you need it. Great for electric windows if they begin to slow, or seat belts.
