Mi 16 Fuelling Issue

Help please, my car is a 205 gti with an mi16 engine on twin dellorto 45 carbs, I've spent a fortune getting this back on the road and all was well, it has now developed what I think is a fuelling fault, if I go round a roundabout it hesitates, Pops and stutters unless I give it more beans which is not the answer, it also hesitates between gears, it's fine on full chat with no problems.

The carbs have been tuned/checked but then the car sat 2 years plus in my garage, I no nothing about carbs so any advice etc welcome
