[Misc_Work] 205 Cj Track/road Daily!

Hi,

 

So I thought I would post up a few pics of my 205 CJ. It's a little daily driver I use for track days and just to be different it's a convertible!!!

 

Lots of little mods here and there, current spec:

 

Engine:

106 GTI engine

Cat cam 708's, Janspeed 4-2-1, decat and remap to ~150bhp at Pug1off

JP4 covers

Ramair filter

Various bits of samco

Spec r catch tank

Baker BM mounts

 

Suspension/Brakes

Spax RSX + comp brake eccentrics (to be fitted this weekend)

106 gti brakes

205 GTI subframe

21mm Torsion bars + 23mm arb (when they arrive in the next week)

 

Wheels/ tyres

106 S2 rallye steels

Currently Vredestiens

 

Interior

 

Standard, half stripped

205 gti front chairs and steering wheel

looking good, and a great choice of engine ;) If you get chance (read:can be arsed) could you get a photo of the 4-2-1 where it goes up and over the subframe for me please? Was there much welding involved in fitting it? Its something i've thought about doing on mine at some point.

 

and that subframe is basically porn.

That's the best I can get for you mate, it's basically a 205 downpipe welded to the end of a 4-2-1!!

 

So the subframe and new coils are on, needs tracked badly!!!! But feels pretty good!!!

Compbrake camber plates/ eccentric top mounts

 

Parts needed:

 

Long sleeve nut

 

eBay spring top hats bored out to 20mm (suits the piston of my spax RSX)

 

A tool to hold the shock shaft/piston to tighten if you don't have extra long threads shown below
