Instrument Panel Warning Lights Not Working

Recommended Posts

DanRM

I have noticed that none of the warning lights light up when the ignition is on, only lights that come on is handbrake, battery and fuel gauge (when low). I've checked the fuse and it's fine so what is the chances all bulbs have gone? or is it a loose harness?

Main reason I'm worried is that the oil gauge is temperamental and will sometimes stop working (which it is at the moment) so now I have no idea if the oil is ok or not, Does the stop light come on if the pressure is too low? or is that part of the same circuit as the other lights. I'm not too worried about the water and oil temp as those gauges work and show the right readings.

Cheers
