Idle Control Valve Which Ones Best

My idle control valves playing up! Its fine when cold but as it gets warm the idle increases to 2k. ive tried cleaning it witch worked for a bit but has slowly gone back to playing up again.

My question is - witch valve is best quality for the money?. verary so much in price!I mean you can pay £10 including postage for one of ebay to £150 for a bosch one.so do I go for one in the middle ?? Anyone bought one lately?

Not sure it came out of a S reg phase one xsara vts. How would I find out

Magnetti Marelli made the original ones, I believe euro car parts sell them, your local motorfactor might be able to sort you a generic aftermarket one.

 

its a 4 wire stepper motor rather than the 2 or three wire Idle valve that the MI/S16 engines use.

They don't sell them apparently I went in for one the other day and they don't stock them at all apparently. However I'd give it a go.
