Because they dont clear 283mm brakes, I didnt have the cash to sort the inserts studs and nuts they require to be used safely, and I needed ther cash too so I sold them on.

Nor do they look good on a standard arched 205 IMO... :P

They were to go on my ZX actually where they would have just about fitted in the arch, but brake clearance as I said was an issue, 180 ish bhp and 1100 kg does need and can use the larger brakes, a 205 doesnt though.

O right, i did wonder. well im glad you sold them haha.

i have plans for the arches, ive found the guy that makes the flared arches with the wider fronts so as ive got the cash im after a set. and as for the nuts your not joking cheapest i found was £2.50 a pop then the conversion studs on top.

if you want decent suspension travel on a 205 you need a full wide wing not just the arch trim.

I've just spent about £60 on the studs and nuts, spacers ontop of that, magnesium specialist refurb on top of that, new rubber on top of that!!!!

It used to look good  IMO of course, I think it will greatly improve when the bonnet is done, are the vents in the valance going white too? Have you cut out the valance behind the vents?

and yep....cut out the back of the fog holes not quite sure on colour at the min think im gna decide once the arches are on because im keepingbthose black, might break up the front end a bit.

was starting to like this without bonnet etc black, but as you say its temp. It will look a lot better when its got a white bonnet on!

im liking the tinted fronts! i have a graphite grey 205 with yellow fogs and was going to tint the headlights and repeaters, thought it might give a more 'mean' look up front, i bottled it though hahaha

finally got my arches yesterday... :D

Painted them with upol texturecoat..really happy with the results as they dont look all that different from the bumper.

hopefully this week sometime will be grinding the door pins and respraying the bottom half and bonnet.

then hubcentric spacers for the fronts and possible rears aswel as coilovers...had a 10mm spacer on the back in the pic.

What size spacers did you have to use?? also they looker wider than 8's??

Definitely only 8" wide.

They're the well known Compomotive THbatteredtofeckonthebackofaMK2 15x8 ET0 wheel.

I also have not seen any quite the same, the shape is what drew me to this set, not really a fan of the newest shape nor the flat faced ones.

Sod all brake clearance for low offset pug discs btw, 283's are a definite no go.
