Quick google search brings up this:

http://www.spoox.co.uk/en/peugeot-205-309/866-peugeot-205-gti-oil-temp-sensor.html

And as for dealerships, they are getting to be a joke, I went in for a front arch trim and the lad behind the counter didn't even know what a 205 GTI was. Epic fail on the staff training scheme i think.

I dont think its on service box but i have a very old parts cd that has it i've seen it before going to look.

Found it and it is on service box but oddly it only shows up for XUD11 and XU10J2TE with BVM is that the gearbox?

Ive had 3 xu10j2te's with me5t box (manual) and all had this sensor wonder why it doesn't show up on service box on the correct engine.

Oh part number is 1131 80, hmm doesnt appear to be nfp either at £56.63 might not be the correct one then?

Not what my factor have said they said QH went bust and somebody bought the name and don't sell much of the range now.

Slo that sensor is still sold. £16.89 i think my dealer said.

It was bva sorry so what you just said but a for auto. Just rang peugeot and they can't find the sensor on any image either, the one from the bva autobox 1131.80 is nfp, and the one i need (one pin) is different to the one in the thermostat block (two pin) although both of them do actually only have one wire going to each sensor so I might be up the creak with this one

Farmer I found it it's 1131 80 155 degrees temp sensor. Can you get it any cheaper than pug?

You can see the blue sensor here...
