Converting Back To Original Set From Carbs

Recommended Posts

GWtaylor

Been looking at a 205 on twin 40's

The cars the right colour right condition but it's on carbs and I know nothing about them apart from they need setting up.

is it a nightmare to return to original set up?

I asked the seller if all the original loom is there to convert but he didnt know if it was as it was the previous owner who done the conversion

Thanks

It's do able, even if you need to get ECU and ignition wiring/injection setup from a breaker.

Does it still run a dizzy, or has it got a aftermarket ECU for the ignition?

Really depends on how/what the previous owner did to convert to carbs. Dont forget you can sell the Carb setup to fund the conversion, or just get them setup and enjoy the noise!

Is it possible to contact the previous owner to ask them?

Matt
