1.9 Gti 130 Bhp Injectors Flow Rate

I'd like to know what is standard injector flow rate for this engine?

1.9 8v (130ps) and 1.9 Mi16 injectors are the same - usually Bosch 0 280 150 762 which are yellow in colour.

 

I have seen another couple of different yellow injectors fitted - 0 280 150 702 is one, and the other ends 4 something from memory. They seem to be interchangeable and run on the same management, despite the book figures for flow rates differing slightly.

from memory 2.0 MI injectors flow just under 200 cc/min @ 3 bar, 1.9 MI are the same as the 8v as anthiony said.

ok, thanx. but i think it will be everything ok if I try with 200cc/min ones. What do you think?

Give it a try. The 0 280 150 702 injectors that I see fitted sometimes are only listed as being 189cc @ 3 bar and yet they seem to be fine (on 8v's atleast)

the 702's are 200cc/min@3 bar injectors.

i'll give it a try with 200's, but in the first place i must check, which are installed now. The problem is, i think it is running rich now (i can smell gas when engine runs) .

Interesting, as the 0280150762's are also listed as 200cc @ 3 bar on that document, and yet are listed as 214cc @ 3 bar elsewhere.

is this on a D6A engine? if its runnign rich I would check the afm and CTS.
