Recommended Posts

Hi there

Found out this wire today and can't determine what's the use of it?

12V with switch on,

To make clear , it's in the rear

Is this a 205? Might be a daft question to you but ive got a cti and ive never looked in a 205 tintop boot and its loads different to mine. I have a switched 12v wire in the same place though. I just used it for my amp remote. No idea what it originally meant for.

Strange , cause the light works fine when i open the hatch and turns off when i close it.

Someone hooked a new setup maybe?

Been racking my memory about this. On my 605 i had similar wire as well,a few years ago i was told it was for testing the brake lights manually apparantly as they are the only lights you cannot physically see working (without cheating in front of a window obviously)
