Green Interior

Just bought a Jreg 1.6 205gti in graphite gray but the interior is green, i have been told this is slightly odd, is it a limited edition or anything??

yes, it sounds like you've got the interior from a 1.6 sorrento green, ie the interior isn't original

Are they gti seats? because some lower models came with funky green interior.

Someones changed it over, I've got a 92 1.6 graphite gray and that's got the std Red/Black inside,

I have a J '92 grey 205 not sure if its graphite (think it is)

 

and that had a green interior in it

 

however it wasn`t all that great so I have changed it for the red/black one which I prefer

Are you sure its graphite and not steel gray metallic as that has green interior from about 1990 Hreg. The steel gray is lighter than graphite.

I have a 205 GTI 1991 1600 in Steel Grey

The seats have black bolsters with green flecks in centre, green carpet, green door cands, green stitching on gearstick gater.

I have looked into this interia and found out it is limited edition

Maybe it could be steel gray then, how do i tell the difference? the interior sound the same as yours Rich Gray, do you know any more info?

Steel Grey looks a medium metalic grey, whereas Graphite Grey looks almost black except in bright sunlight when the grey shines through.
