Recommended Posts

As above really, how long will it take and difficult is it? Ghe engine will be on the engine stand so access wont be an issue. Anything to watch out for as ive never done any before.

Also does anyone have the part number and price for them? Its the xu10 2.0 turbo engine im refering go.

search for a for sale on here someone is selling both ends for £5.50 delivered.

gearbox end is easy once you get the flywheel off etc, not done the timing end for a while so cant quite remember but should be easy with the engine on a stand.

With the engine on a stand, one side is just as easy as the other, just the cambelt end needs the belt removing & pulleys taking off the crank tail.

I paid under £25 for both Payen crank seals from my local motor factors when I needed them urgently.

They are one of the preferred quality brands for things such as head gaskets & engine seals imo & possibly the same as you'd get from Peugeot for more money.

This pug one looks exactly the same as the payee one.
