Wouldn't the back end have been warped some what ?

 

The front end doesn't look too straight though,bonnet to wings look a bit off, is it an original Dimma ?

All depends how hot the fire got to distort panels wheels look ok main structure looks ok and theres a dimma kit on gumtree so best someone buys it and saves it.

That one in your ebay pic could be the one from HBC motor salvage in Middlesbrough, only thinking this as not too far away.

 

This was about 4 or 5 years ago I think.

 

I spotted it driving past, looked in good condition but wasn't allowed to get close and they wouldn't give any details on the car.

 

It was going to be auctioned back then but they wouldn't give a date and said you just had to turn up to every auction and it may go through, not the best way to get top dollar for a car.

was your old blue one red at some point? as the scuttle panel lip is red under the flaking white paint.
