Strange Brake Problem! Please Help Gents

afternooon fellas

 

on saturday my brakes failed completely ( i pumped the pedal but no joy building pressure up the b-pedal just dropped straight to the floor everytime)

 

but today my brakes worked fine all i did was wobble the mc and pump the pedal a few times!

 

has anyone got any ideas what the problem maybe as i dont fancy the brakes failing on a public road! i will replace the mc for peace of mind but wondering if it could be something else causing the problem ?

New master cyl needed, don't drive the car until it has been replaced.
