Electrical Connections At Rear Of Block

Hey up, just looking under my car a few mins ago and spotted 2 electrical connections sprouting from a sensor screwed vertically into the rear of my mi16 block.

 

What is this for and should it be being used for anything?

Oil level sensor. Unused on 205 installations.

It's the oil level sensor. It's not used on 205s, as the 205 dash doesn't have the wiring for it.

Also, it can be used as oil-return for turbo conversion .
