Yep, a fair bit more! Requires quite a lot of work so surely is only worth doing if regs dictate that you need to keep an original engine block. If you don't need to do that then you're best off going for an alloy block 16v of some description.

Done a fair bit of reading and thinking and am now thinking its going to be a Xsara vts/Gti6 lump.. Will make it as light as possible and learn to drive neater and see how much of a fight we can take to the big powered escorts etc.. :P
