Inlet Manifold Hose - Where It Plugs To?

Hi

A hose that plugs to the bottom side of the inlet , close to the radiator. It's pretty hard and 90 degree shape - what is it and where does it connect on the other side ?

It goes off to the SAD (cold idle valve) which is mounted near the thermostat housing.

Thanks first of all

I hope I made myself clear about which one,

Because in my car it wasnt connected to anything

And the car runs OK

I do not mean the pipe close to the throttle !
