Having Trouble With Leaky Driveshaft Seals?

Many times I've head of people having issues with leaky driveshaft seals, and I've often wondered if any had bothered to check what it says on the subject in the haynes manual...

 

 

 

 

 

my local motorfactor stocks Febi-bilstein driveshaft seals in the same type as the ones pictured, with the serrated plastic ring, they cost me about £6 the pair on trade! not had one leak either

Whilst many on the forum may know that already, i've never met a peugeot/citroen mechanic who does! Good info anyway!
