Cv Joint Compatability

Hi all i have just recieved my new 6 bearing outer CV joint for my 309 non abs shaft, The shaft i have is of a tripod bearing design does anyone know if the 6 bearing cv joint will fit a tripod bearing shaft. Cheers

the tripod outer joint cannot be removed, so the answer is no unfortunately, you need t send that CV back and buy a complete shaft if the cv is knackered.
