Pugmarshall's Cherry Red Ph2 Junior

So after the Demise of my second Dturbo, I decided to save my money and wait....

But that failed as I found this beauty, local-ish, and won it for £190 on ebay.

The car is a Phase 2 205 Junior with an 1124cc engine and a 5-speed gearbox. Over all I'm extremely happy with it, especially considering the price.

This is the car once in my possession;

Once the car was here, I gave it good looking-over, the only problems I could find were;

Plastic strip missing above fuel cap

Dented/bent wing

Brake's aren't too good

It's absolutely filthy!

I wouldn't actually call one of them a problem, just some things that need seeing too :D

This weekend I cracked out my cleaning stuff;

I also bought some more clay and a few more AG products that I felt it needed, like Interior Shampoo (brilliant stuff)

I washed the car with AG shampoo, clayed the paintwork, washed again, polished with AG SRP, treated all the plastics and windows then waxed with Meg's Gold Class Carnauba.

Finished product (no before shots!)

Then my dad spent the best part of 15 minutes treating the rear bumper and the door handles;

Then I cracked open the industrial de-greaser on the engine bay.

Soaked and rinsed;

Then scrubbed with de-greaser and a cloth, then treated with Vynil & Rubber Care;

Not perfect, yet, but I'm happy so far :D

now thats what i call a tiny engine! :D :D i like it! its amazing how good a car can look after a good scrub! thats one thing i actually enjoy doing! letting my car get all dirty and then taking before and after photos when i clean it and spend like 5 hours doing it! :lol: i dont make a habit of that though. once its clean it generally stays that way! haha

Cleaning my car is so theraputic it's wierd! I spent 8 hours cleaning and detailing it! Forgot to get pics of the interior, it looks 100x better!

Not quite a v6 turbo, a TU5JP or a TU5J4 if funds will allow... Will see how things go first :lol:

Thanks! I'm very excited about it, can't wait to get it looking better :D

GTi bumpers are first on the list exterior wise, I also have some coilovers and vented discs I'll fit on the weekend...

Yes I am Max lol I was going to put an XUD in but I don't have a built one at the moment, and I just don't have the money or time to build an engine tbh... Maybe after I blow a 1600 up :P
