bouver 0 Posted April 14, 2012 Hi Simon from Chesterfield here. I have owned my Dimma CTI for around 6 years now, and I am looking for some inspiration/help on moving it forward. I believe it is genuine due to the quality of the kit, also the embroided leather seats are a good clue. Anyway, I am keeping it period with the original 8v engine, although I think it has been changed to the 1.9 at some point despite it being on the log book as a 1.6 I have spent loads on parts, mohair roof, coilovers, and a respray a few years ago but now I want to do a more thorough job. Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted April 14, 2012 I'm still here! All CTIs will have been 1.6 on the log book as I think people had stopped Dimmaing them by the time the 1.9's came out. I'm pretty sure there were no "factory" ones. Was yours always black? Also have you any pics of the seats. Get the roof whacked on it and just enjoy it! RummyonFire 2 Posted April 15, 2012 get in touch with st-performance you have ti send your vin, pics of the car and reg they check it against the logs in Belgium and if approved they it then they can reprint you another plate around £65 when i got mine last year. looks nice!! I remember that fron yesterday year in max power lol no he has the kit sitting but has never got around to fitting it lol the yellow one might have made a comeback but its now focus rs green as there was one in a mag last month,total lack of motivation for him due to substance abuse lol,he also has a mint r5 gt turbo raider sitting in his mums garage that he bought in 1997 and got a bottom end rattle on the way home,he had a wee burst of enthusiasm about 10 years ago and fitted an engine and a few bits but when he realised his wheels wouldnt fit with the coilovers he just gave up and has sat since,would never sell it though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
