1.9 Dt Fuel Leak

My car seems to be leaking fuel to the left of where the inlet is on the filter housing.

Prime the grenade up and fuel drips out and hisses.

Car won't even start now

Would packing it with sealant help just get me home as i'm stuck at me girlfriends with no tools

that clip looks a bit iffy, I'd start by replacing that and cleaning the whole area with brake cleaner.

Problem is i'm stuck at my girlfriend with only a pair of pliers lol.

I'm off to halfords to get some silicone seal just to see if it will get me home.

 

I have no idea what that thing does, it turns freely, tried turning it in and out and nothing happens

Packed it with sealant, let it dried for a while and tried it and it came out again but it managed to start straight up, no spluttering or anything. Ran it for awhile and it seems fine.

I've packed some more on just to be safe. Hope it lasts the 20 mile journey home
