2.08V Turbo Overfuelling

Hi guys, iam after a few ideas. A mate who is a mechanic has got a 205 with a 2.0 8v turbo motor in for somebody as a job. The owner has replaced the headgasket and basically isnce then it wont start. My mate has re-done the timing belt as that was a tooth out but still it wont start.

 

He told me today that its way overfuelling as when the injectors are out they are all firing together in one go when you crank it over. If this is true what you reckon could cause this. The car was running before head was done. Thanks.

That's called batch fire, which is correct.

 

has he got the plug leads in the correct order? no1 being flywheel end?
