I have mailed Steve at Tack just now, scrap should take you to £20 for the unit if I get it for around about that do you want it? Saves you making a unit.

Scrap? By that do you mean old and used? I've never even noticed that it had dim/dip since it didn't work in the first place and it's never caused any problems really so not worth spending anything to sort it out. There's 2 on ebay for £15 and £18 as well.

Old stock works in 3 ways

 

1/ Current = full retail

 

2/Obsolete = 25 % of retail

 

3/ Scrap = 50 % off retail

 

all of the above parts are brand new on the list.

Round thing behind n/s headlight, I haven't tried rattling the wires or anything yet could even be a bad earth.

Will do ive got the carpet stripped out at the moment and jetwashed so priority lies with getting the seats back in atm for school run in the morning. Ill get back to ya tonight.

Aye bugger the carpet got me entrigued this has. So plug both sides is well gammy. Quick clean with spray no difference. Earthed wires on plug headlights come on full so its popped. Looks like im gonna be a 5w sidelight muppet for a while.

Odd thing tho the wiring loom plug has 2 wires but the resistor plug has 3 seperate wires one on each pin.
