Well I got my phase 1 headlights and open the box and seen how big the indicator unit was how big! So I ponder for a bit and saw my mates mark 1 vw polo out came the tape yes! I found that it fits just under the red trim not to big not to small. Now for the question can you put 2 sets of dip beam units on a 1990 205 and pass the mot? I think I read some where that if you had a car befor 1991 you can. ........................4.........m........p.......h...........................

Mine use a H4 bulb in one of them anyway so I have dip and main in one and second ones I use as spots that switch on with the main beam.

Dont see the point as they will be aimed in exactly the same place whereas if they're the drive type they can be aimed anywhere.

ok then the polo indicator lights are smaller than the morette ones i have put them in the bumper and fit 4mm under the metal trim on the bumper looks nice on phase 1 you have to move the indicator on phase 2 you do not have to move them. The lamps you get are 2 units with side dip and hi and 2 units with just hi beam :D

I wanted to do this with mine before I sold them. I recon a 205 with 2 sets of headlamps coming towards you would look pretty awesome.

It was a toss up between the Morettes and a carbon fibre bonnet. I didn't want both as I think it would look a bit OTT. I've yet to buy the bonnet yet though :)

I thiink there's some confusion here I think he's on about the twin headlamps that replace the standard 205 indicators not morretes that use the original indicators. Below are morretes
