1.6 Group A Head

I picked up one of these a few weeks back along with a pile of bits and bobs that a lad had stored in his garage,

 

 

Im led to believe its a factory head but as to the work thats done to it I wouldnt have a clue,

 

 

Anyone any ideas as to what would have been done to it etc because it is of no use to me and ill be selling it on.

Could have anything done to it tbh, only real way to tell is to strip it apart and see. I used to have what was believed to be a group A head, that had porting to inlet, combustion chamber work, double valve springs with top hat shims, 3 angle valve seats and the Group A max torque cam.

Yeah probly the best thing to do alright,

 

There is no cam fitted to it and could probly do with being stripped down anyway,
