Doing an event and running repairs

 

Can anyone please tell me if the driveshafts from a 1990 205 gti with a be3 box will fit a 1987 205 gti with the standard be1 box

 

are the driveshafts interchangeable between the two boxes

 

Apologies for not doing a proper search, but I only have limited access from my phone

I think they are the same,only difference between shafts is hub end on 1.9 ones.
