Clutch Cover Failure

Recommended Posts

Miles

Had this little nice issue raise it's head today, A brand new Valeo clutch which lasted a few minutes before breaking up like this, the car move around 10 yards from the workshop to outside to get up to temp and then stopped when the Metal spring part on the side broke and took the crank sensor out the game

Anyone else seen anything like this

Redtop

Never seen one go as quick as that. On those wee peugeot 107's/aygo/c1 I have seen them explode and break in 3 places like that, but them wee cars used to eat clutches anyway. Surely there will be some type of guarentee/warrenty on the part as it failed so soon??
