Afm's?

Purely out of curiosity just wondering if anyone is able to advise on the differences between the AFM on 1.6 and 1.9 8 valve engines?

the resistance is the same when doing the checks as described in haines manual and they look identical so baffled as to the difference because as far as i can see the only difference is the bosch number.

I'd imagine the internal mechanics are different sizes to allow different amounts of air through.
