It looks like you took the photos? Look on the block and it will say. The ones with plastic cam covers and cast exhaust manifold are def not.

The one with the cast exhaust manifold clearly isn't. For the rest of them, look to the right of the water housing (below the exhaust cam) on the cylinder head for "RS" which is casted into the head. They all look a bit weathered to me!

bottom row is alloy block so definitely not XU10 :)

no cam sensor and no vacuum pump = not RS.

no cam sensor or heat exchanger and has a steel sump, so not an RS.

All engines now have Knock sensor's, even the S16 had one in the same place. none of them are RS engines

None look like XU10J4RS engines from what I can see.

Quick giveaways of a GTi-6 engine are the cam phase sensor (inlet side, cambelt end), vacuum pump (flywheel end) and "RS" cast on the end at the cambelt end. All iron block, rather than alloy. Exhaust manifold is a tubular 4-branch item rather than cast like the 136hp 306/406 2.0 16v (XU10J4R). I think they all have alloy cam covers too, rather than plastic.
