I'm vented too rather than inline.

 

I simply blocked off the barb on the TB + k&n pipe, then run the two barbs on the oil cap to a vented catch tank.

 

No mess in your inlet! No more gummed up TB either.

 

That will be what I am going to do,did you connect both pipes together to make a single pipe running to can or have you got a double intake can?

At the mo I only have the smaller (12mm?) barb on the cap connected to the tank. The larger 19mm is blocked off.

This is far from ideal, both need connecting really.

I do have a 'dual intake' tank.

To make things easier I think I am going to change the cap to single large outlet only and run that to catch can clanking off TB and intake hose connections.

I think the cap is for the old xvw and g1a engines,pug part 0258.24.

Then get rid of all the wire crap in cap and neck.

You want one of these, catch tank and filler all in one, Makes the engine bay look allot neater instead of the horrid filler tower

How much is one of those?? And how hard is it to fit?
