i have searched but getting two different part numbers, and i forgot which i used when i first did the conversion

 

205 running GTI6 engine and mi16 clutch

 

what bolts "did" i use?

 

or what bolts "should" i use?

Yup, they'll work fine, especially if you already have them

 

If you need replacements the part number used by the RS engine is cheaper for some reason, even though they used the same clutch on the same flywheel on the S16, they used a different part number which is the same as the bolts used on the 1.9 MI16 and later 8 valve engines (1mm longer)

 

6928 02 SCREW WITH BASE 2.29 GBP (earlier bolts are 4.62!)

the bolts have stretched, so i need to replace them

I have 2 sets for sale in the for sale section. Genuine Pug as they only come in 20s. I used 6, selling 2 sets of 7 so you have a spare!
