205 Gti-6 High Tickover

Hi Guys,

 

My GTI-6 seems to tickover very high after a motorway run, not hammering it just sitting between 70 - 80 I don't have a rev counter at the moment so don't know what its ticking over at. It only does it after this sort of run and is fine otherwise.

 

Any Ideas??

Idle control valve sticking,air leak on the inlet somewhere?

 

Pretty sure if you search gti6 high idle on here you will find plenty of threads
