205 1.6 To 2.0 8v Turbo

the pipe that connects to the back of the water pump housing and goes to the front of the car for the rad, and has a hose from the top for the expansion tank, which sits on the drivers side wing on the xm, but on the 205 its on the passenger side, so i'm kinda stuck. as the xm tank wont fit in the wing

If i keep the 205 tank, and run it maybe to rad or thermostat will this be ok, obviously blank the other pipe off, i no the expansion tank nees to be the highest part off the coolant system, but wasnt sure if this would be ok...

Not exactly sure what you are asking but is this topic any help?

 

Try to keep it as close to the standard 205 coolant piping to save future issues with hoses imo.
