Crikey, that's a blast from the past - don't think I've seen that car in a few years now and wondered where it had gone...

(btw, am I the only one that thinks that the Clio 16v Dimma on page 3 of that thread really doesn't look right?)

I met the owner of it must be 3 years ago now over in Staffordshire somewhere as i recall as we tried to fit my T16 wheels to it, got some snaps on my old phone he was a nice guy, had an immaculate Tommi Mak parked next to it in his garage!

B) That thing is just insane! The interior could do with some tidying up.

Also I agree, that clio looked absolute cock.

Same, although maybe it's because I'm so used to seeing Peugeot Dimmas. I always assumed they were Pug only, given that they look so much like the 205 T16.

No, it looks all wrong & strangely out of proportion completely unlike the 205 which started the Dimma scene off (didn't it? ).

I remember that car :P and if I remember right Tim Harvey liked mine better :D

Pretty sure he did, I had this very copy of Max Power with this group thrash in by my pc until last month, I'll dig it out in the morning & post Tim Harveys remarks about your car Rab but I'm fairly sure it was his favourite of them all.

I wonder where the rest of them are now..?

Graham.

I remember seeing it around Leicester in the late nineties. It had cream interior then (as already mentioned) and I'd always see it parked up in an industrial estate in Wigston.

Then around 2004 I saw it on someones' drive again in Wigston with a for sale sign on it. Knocked on and called a few times but no answer.

Nice car.

Does anyone remember the red 205 4x4 Cosworth van? I think it had a T16 bodykit rather than Dimma. That was pretty mad. We're going back a long way!

Maybe so or you're thinking of another van, the one I had in mind was from a feature in 1996, 14 years ago:

I just remember thinking it was pretty awesome, not sure if it was done before H20 COS though.

I disagree with the Clio Dimma comments, I remember seeing one in the late 90s and it looks really good to me, the arches are not quite as mad as the 205 and it looked like much better fit/finish than the 205 Dimmas.

I think the one in that thread just has bad pictures that make it look odd, disproportionate to how it really is!

I have a Dimma 205 and a spare 4x4 cossie setup. watch this space. I love 205's in that gunmetal grey that the Dimma was in. It was so deep a colour

shame a pug engine attached to a cossie drivetrain would lunch itself the first time you floored it or braked heavily unless it was dry sumped :)

"This is my type of hooligan car, a good normally aspirated motor with plenty of grunt."
