2.0 8v Turbo Revs Raising

when i start the car it will jump to 2000 revs and then keep raising on idle, i have two 3 pin plugs left on my loom where one is for the icv and one is for the rad i think (pug 306) iv tried the icv plugged in both of these and its still doing the same. anyone any ideas? thanks

The idea of a forum is to share information, I am sure you have read many useful things on here in the past, so why not do the same for anyone with the same problem in future, and give a short description of HOW you "fixed" the problem........

what was it? did you find the correct plug for the icv?

sorry i had the icv plug plugged in to something else (mix up of plugs) its due to having 2 three pin plugs right next to each other.

but il also add that the icv buzz's when plugged in and ignition is on
