Running Rough Now Dead ,any Ideas

Tried to move my 205 yesterday,started ok but idled rough and stalled when i tried to move off ,fired it up today and took it out but it started to misfire when i accelerated hard and ended up misfiring all the time then died , it turns over ok but won't fire up . where should i investigate first . cheers all
