hey guys

yesterday the vacuum advance on my distributor had managed to work itself loose causing the engine to be all over the place. i screwed it back in but could it have moved and changed the timing even after i have tightened it back up as it seems to be running really retarded and then after reving the revs will stick at around 2000? it didnt fall out but i guess it could have moved iniside? im running twin 40s so the vacuum advance isnt being used anyway but any ideas?
