Building Turbo Engine From Different Versions

Hi All.

 

At first I have to say, that I did search for an interesting topics, but I couldn't write my question there, because they were locked (probably because of 2008 year).

 

I am collecting parts for my turbo project.

 

Destination is around 300-340 horse power.

 

I have a XU9J4 block.

 

Heads and rods from D6C and DFW.

 

I am planning to use a shaft from XUD9TE.

 

I have also an option to but a head from XU10J4TE - but I don't know if it is worth it, just for sodium exhaust valves (or maybe there are more differances ?)

 

For this setup I would like to use Pistons from XU10J4TE - if my friend is going to give me a good price.

 

Which rods to use: XU10 = 86mm, XU9 = 88mm

 

?

 

Which setup would be the best from parts I've mentioned ;-)

 

This is not just a plain text, it is my dream from time I was a kid. Now I have a good job, and I want to make a dream come true.
