Forged Pistons

hi all silly Q. am i right on thinking hi compression pistons are for N/A engines :)

im away to get bits together for my 106 gti engine build

and a set of hi comp omega pistons have come up for sale near me.

was wondering if they were worth a poke.lol

(its ok people the engine isnt going back in to a gay 106 lol) :P

oops for got to say plans are im getting 40mm throttle boddies and omex 600 managment have fly wheel, arp conrod bolts, new shells and cams

low comp more generally for boosted engines

The Omegas in my experience work significantly better than certain cheaper forged pistons. The only problem with Omegas really, is getting them, because there aren't any stocks. So if you can get a set for reasonable money, then great.

yea burr thats the one he has a few other bits and bobs also. do you know him?

he doesnt say if there high or low comp but with everything else he has i would imagine they would be hi comps going to give him a shout today.

have to pull my finger out and get the mi ready so can get some funds together.

yeah i do know him and he wont fob you off and his advice is very good. he is also selling a complete 40mm jenvey TB setup for a saxo vts/106 gti for a good price.
