Correctly Assembled Fuel Pump

Recommended Posts

iamjackiechan

Hi

As i was previously running the car on carbs i removed the pump without thinking i would ever put it back, but plans have changed so i need to reasemble it.

I have searched lots of posts and google images and cant find anything helpful.

Can someone please tell me if this is missing anything.

Has no one ever looked at there fuel pump before.

I was just wondering if it has any more covering of some sort before it goes into the tank.

Any help would be appreciated

Should there not be mesh filter type material covering those holes in the pump housing? There is on the spare pump in my garage.

Do you mean where the wires are?

Would this effect anything if i dont have it there?
