Big end bolt gave up, It lasted a full season at 8500rpm thou on all std internals and made a couple of hundred HP

I enjoyed the video, some of the 205's were sliding a bit and your race line looked good and looked like it handled well.

 

So that is what must have happened to the white wheeler dealers car instead of the gear linkage.

I remember that - I was there that day, and arrived just after you'd blown the engine. I was stood just down from where the camera was, with Alan_M if I recall.

The 200bhp 8v's were running B&Q flower pots as intake ducts :o
