Well with the current fuel price im getting 16 miles to £10 .Its a 1.9mi16 on a gti6 manifold and megasquirt .

 

That's just ridiculous mate, somthings not right there in my opinion.

based on 120 miles from £25 fuel @117p = 21 liters, (4.5 gallons) average over the past 3 months or so, not to bad considering :D

I dont blame the megasquirt more the clown that mapped it .Im gonna get a wideband lamba and re do it myself untill then im not going to use it`s to expensive

205 XS; 3drs; 1988 [1.4 8v] 38mpg on a run, carb needs settin up though so can be much better, always stinks of petrol.

Its always worse when you can smell your money going down the pan! Just had mine tuned but there's lots of other contributing factors that aren't worth fixing on mine so its still not great

1992 205 rallye 1.4 carb, approx 25-30mpg, its just asking to be thrashed! I can't help it. Thats why I need a GTI-6 in at the end of the year.

2004 Citroen Xsara VTS - 42mpg (economy run), 35mpg (average), 12mpg (Trying too hard).

not bad considering it was only a few more with the 1.4 engine in. this is a combination of motorway driving and a/b road blasts.

2006 BMW E91 320D - 29mpg around town

 

Both can be higher on long runs.

no idea what it does at full chat, but I heard one of Sandy's latest 220+ bhp+ n-a TU5J4's will still do over 40 on the cruise :o
