im really looking forward to getting the car back in the next month or so.

its had an mi conversion with jenveys on it  the last time i drove it was about a year ago as a 1.6 gti.

im hoping to see a good gain in power.

the engine has pretty much been fully rebuilt now. new valves with 3 angle seats, new lifters, crank reground with new bearings, new piston rings and honed liners, slight skim on the head, new gaskets all round.

the sump is having a bit of 'anti-surge' work done on it. and should be ready in a few days.

its taken about a year to accomplish this due to funds and problems etc

i have pretty high hopes for this engine and hopefully it will last a while, providing i look after it

anyone else got a set up similar? what are your views on the engine?

Thanks

Aaron

Your responses will likely be limited to :-

"Too many valves"

"Oil surge blah blah doom blah blah too many valves"
