Driving Lamps From Gsf

Recommended Posts

d7ve_b

I'm after some OE spec driving lamps for the GTI as mine are a badly fitting set of copies. I had a search and found that people generally seem to recommend GSF car parts as they supply the Siem lamps. I rang them today but they only supply Correlli(sp?) items? Has anyone heard of these or have any experience with them?

So far it's either the ones from GSF or these on ebay.?

they may well come under a different brand now, they used to be in Bosch boxes.

as them to cross reference to a peugeot part number, what part number did they say for a 205 Spot lamp? IIRC I posted the new number on a recent topic as they have had a re-structuring of their catalogues.

Update - ordered some driving lamps from GSF huddersfield and they turned out to be Denji's, which were quickly returned. Ordered some from GSF Manchester and they are indeed Siem lamps. Both we're under the same part number so buyer beware!

I've just contacted GSF Thurrock and they say that the lamps have been cancelled!

Any ideas? D7ve B, could you enquire when you pick yours up if they can get any more in?

I've used them for years and never had a problem with them bar the surrounds needing a re-paint every year or so.

I asked the question and according to GSF Manchester they only have two lamps left in stock, one in swansea and one in reading. This of course could be total rubbish though!

For those that are interested - AutoFive can still get Bosch ones at £76.94 for the pair

As far as in know peugeot can't get the black surrounds anymore but you can still get the siem lights. Probably because the 10 year law is up a few years ago and now they are just supplying whats left on the shelf. Alot of stuff is becoming nfp recently.
