happygoron 2 Posted April 15, 2010 I know theres one or two on here that also run saabs and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for saab forums and places to buy parts online? Also is there any saab version of servicebox? Only when you start sifting through other car forums packed with ads and rubbish you realise what a rare resource this place is..... happygoron 2 Posted April 15, 2010 WP: Yea, the inlet piping to the turbo for a 2.2 diesel. The old one is duct taped together and we don't want bits of it flying into the turbo now we've had it reconned! Think I'll have to go to a stealer. Also need the 3 bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold but I don't know the size, hence the need for a servicebox/forum! I'll try those forums, cheers guys. ORB 227 1 Cars Posted April 15, 2010 At the dealership I work, one of the franchises we have is Saab. I know them very well. The Saab parts system is a bit of a ball ache. If you PM me all of the details and reg number I can order up the parts for you and get you them with my discount and forward the bits on? or just get you the part no's if that suits you better? That would be superb if you could. You will have a PM shortly. I repeat my earlier statement about how good this forum is!
carbers205 1 Posted April 16, 2010 Just for reference Saabscene is a pretty good place, got lots of advice when we were looking at getting a 9-5 v6td. And on the back of said advice didnt bother!

ORB 227 1 Cars Posted April 20, 2010 Have our parts boys rang you at all? Should have bits in tomorrow I think?
happygoron 2 Posted April 20, 2010 Have our parts boys rang you at all? Should have bits in tomorrow I think? No, they said that they should be in today or tommrow and they'd ring. Not such a rush now as my old man won't need the car urgently, he's stuck in Oman!
