mhyphenl 10 1 Cars Posted April 14, 2010 I've totally stripped my 205 ready for shell prep and respray. I'm not spraying it but want to do as much prep as poss. I can't afford the room or price of a compressor but I'm convinced that a grinder, sander, polisher is probably the best route. Is there a good one that someone can reccommend that will do all three well??
M@tt 77 Posted April 14, 2010 sanders/polishers work as a much much lower rpm than an angle grinder so you'll need 2 seperate tools if you want to do grinding and sanding.

Which is best for using wire brush attachments, (knotted and un-knotted)?
Baz 421 Posted April 14, 2010 A grinder. I have a mop/sander that's speed adjustable. But i also have a grinder, tbh i wouldn't bother using one as the other.
